Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.

Be committed to providing a consistent positive experience:

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including cleaning, organizing, and housekeeping tasks.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor per standards, complete markdowns, and organize the stockroom.

Leverage in-store and digital services:

• Complete fulfillment functions including locating, inspecting, packaging, and labeling products.
• Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Prioritize customer first:

• Complete transactions accurately, follow policies, and partner with leadership on escalated issues.
• Follow asset protection policies.

Bring energy and teamwork:

• Participate in meetings and training, be receptive to feedback, and support inclusivity.

Required Skills:

• Availability to meet business needs.
• Professional, friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with technology (registers, iPhone, calculator).
