Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience: Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.

Be committed to providing a consistent positive experience:

• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers, including clearing trash, cleaning the store, and organizing stock.
• Receive inbound freight, prepare merchandise, and maintain the stockroom per standards.

Leverage in-store and digital services:

• Complete fulfillment functions, locate items, inspect product condition, and prepare for pickup/delivery.
• Use company tools to search product availability and assist customers.

Prioritize customer needs:

• Process transactions accurately, operate the register, and partner with leadership for escalated issues.

Bring fun and energy:

• Participate in team meetings, training, and support an inclusive team environment.

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills, proficiency with store technology.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks regularly.
