Aging Kingdom Homecare in Portland, ME is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients at home across Cumberland, York, Androscoggin, and surrounding areas.

They offer flexible schedules, a chance for advancement, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive team, with on-going training and a quick onboarding process.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• DSW certification or current DSW candidate.
• Previous personal care or home care experience preferred.
• Compassionate and dependable approach to client care.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Successful completion of a required criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assistance with activities of daily living.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Companionship and respite care.
• Transportation, shopping, and errands.
• Medication reminders.
• Assistance with mobility and ambulation.
• Reporting changes or unusual incidents.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies.

Schedule
