Job summary

• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, appropriate appearance, and consistent, reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee.

CLASS TITLE: Designated Substitute Teacher CLASS CODE: 4099

REPORTS TO: Principal/Designee EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt

BASIC FUNCTION:

Provide classroom instruction and support across Pre-K through Grade 12 in the regular teacher's absence. Ensure continuity of learning by adapting to a wide range of subjects and age groups, maintaining classroom routines, and supporting the school’s mission and culture.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

• Deliver instruction and manage classrooms during short- and long-term teacher absences
• Support daily instruction or assist other teachers when coverage is not required
• Collaborate with teaching staff to align with grade-level planning, expectations, and assessments
