Job summary

365 Health Services is seeking a Program Specialist to build a network of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), assess skills for client placements, and collaborate with Supports Coordinators to identify needs and opportunities. The role includes onboarding, salary negotiations, and ongoing DSP management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience working with individuals with IDD.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Enthusiastic, results-driven, sense of urgency and high standard of professionalism.
  • Must meet all Federal, State, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develops recruitment strategies to attract, screen and hire DSPs meeting office needs.
  • Drives to and visits assigned individuals and teams at homes.
  • Uses recruitment tools to source qualified and diverse candidates.
  • Matches and evaluates candidate skills to individual needs via screening and interviewing.
  • Ensures candidates meet hiring standards for 365 Health Services and contracts.
  • Negotiates salary and employment terms with candidates.
  • Schedules DSPs for initial placement and ongoing assignments, and manages performance concerns.
