Job summary

Sacred Journey Inc is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support children in foster care residing in group homes in Arizona. The role focuses on supervision, structure, and promoting positive youth development.

Shift opportunities include after-school and overnight hours. Candidates must meet age, education, and licensing requirements, pass screenings, and maintain confidentiality while documenting daily activities and progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience working with DCS foster children.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Valid Arizona driver's license (required).
• Must provide 39 month driving record.
• Mandatory Drug screening.
• Criminal background check.
• Fingerprint clearance.
• Health physical.
• No crimes against children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support foster youth in daily routines and activities.
• Enforce house rules and promote a structured environment.
• Encourage youth to build healthy peer relationships and community involvement.
• Accompany youth to medical appointments.
• Teach and promote hygiene and life skills.
• Ensure youth are safe, supervised, and engaged at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Complete all required documentation (daily logs, incident reports, medication records, progress notes).
• Support educational development and assist with homework.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space.
• Assist with meal preparation and cleanup according to OSHA standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in fire drills.
• Communicate effectively with youth, case managers, therapists, and families.
• Follow Sacred Journey Inc’s policies, procedures, and training standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Available Shifts as of 07/30/2026

Current Shifts Available in homes with female clients ages (9) years to (18) years old

• Monday- Friday- 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Current Shifts Available in homes with male clients ages (5) years to (18) years old

• Friday and Saturday 7:00pm-7:00am

Minimum Qualifications:
