Job summary

Mains’l Services in Chico, CA is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional / Caregiver and Support Coordinator to join our team. You will work with leadership to provide person-centered support, coordinating activities and ensuring a safe, supportive living environment for residents.

The role includes documentation, medication management, training, and collaboration with medical professionals to meet individual goals. Flexible schedule; full-time, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check by DOJ (and FBI if needed).
• Safe and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test.
• Physical, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model for DSPs using person-centered thinking.
• Ensure residential spaces run smoothly with the Program Manager.
• Coordinate activities and routines with people based on goals.
• Perform medication administration and counts.
• Complete financial month-end documentation by required deadline.
• Lead staff training and department meetings when needed.
