Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in New Jersey. Schedule: 7am-3pm Monday through Friday; Compensation: $24–$30/hour.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one in home and community settings, following each client's ISP and promoting independence and daily living skills.

We offer consistent hours, local cases, a supportive team, flexible scheduling, and growth within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
