Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional II (DSP2) to assist adults with developmental disabilities in a Pasadena, CA EBSH home. You will help with daily routines, meals, hygiene, and activities to support independence and well-being.

Requirements include DSP1 & DSP2 certificates, High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and a valid CA driver’s license. RBT completion within 6 months is expected; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and MUST have DSP 1 & DSP 2.
• RBT must be completed within 6 months of hire; training and support available.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors preferred.
• Minimum Driving Experience: valid CA driver's license, >21, with clean record within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in the IPP.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and daily living tasks.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing as needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pickup/drop-off clients in company vans when necessary.
