Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional II. The role supports adults with developmental disabilities in daily living within an EBSH home, requiring DSP 1 and DSP 2 certificates. The position offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

The DSP2 will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and structured activities per the Individual Program Plan, while ensuring safety, dignity, and positive engagement for clients.

Qualifications

• Must have DSP 1 and DSP 2 certificates.
• RBT needs to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living, including dietary, hygiene, grooming and dressing.
• Redirect behaviors through activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
• Outline and prepare daily routines per the Individual Program Plan.
• Assist with bathroom needs and clothing changes.
• Prepare meals and assist with cleanup; pickup/drop-off if necessary.
