Job summary

Easterseals Southern California in Pasadena, CA is seeking a caring caregiver to support residents in a group home. Under direct supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, meals, personal care, and transportation.

This role requires HS diploma, DSP-I/II certifications, CPR, CPI and First Aid. 1–2 years of experience preferred. You will document daily notes and help residents build independent living skills. Starting pay is $20 per hour with consistent hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma typically required.
• DSP-I and DSP-II certifications required.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily activities to develop living skills per IPP/ISP goals.
• Administer and monitor medications as required (including suppositories).
• Provide personal care (eating, hygiene, shower, bathroom, bedtime prep).
• Care for and clean the residential home, including laundry/ironing.
• Prepare meals with dietary restrictions; assist with G-tube feeding.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and other locations.
• Complete daily reports and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
