Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation in Rhode Island seeks compassionate Direct Support Professional I to provide one-on-one care under the PASS program. You’ll help children build independence, life skills, and participate in home and community activities.

You will work with families and a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized plans that promote safety, wellbeing, and meaningful daily engagement. The role includes ongoing trainings, supervision, and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and team members.
• Ability to work independently while following PASS plans and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and supervision based on the PASS plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Support children in developing independence, decision-making, and life skills.
• Create opportunities for socialization at home and in the community.
• Accurately document progress and submit timesheets and reports.
• Participate in family-led trainings and apply feedback to improve service delivery.
