QSAC, based in New York, is seeking a Direct Support Professional Group Leader for the Bronx 2 Day Habilitation program. The role supervises DSP staff, oversees activity classrooms, and ensures accurate documentation and adherence to treatment plans.

The position requires 1–2 years in developmental disability/autism care, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage transportation and emergencies. Competitive benefits accompany this full-time opportunity.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience with developmental disability/autism populations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely assist lifting individuals and items up to 20 lb.
• Punctuality and regular attendance are essential.

• State-m mandated background/fingerprint clearance required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
• Ability to run when needed.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Habilitation Specialists/DSPs and oversee activity classrooms.
• Implement and train staff on established treatment plans.
• Maintain certifications (SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR, First Aid).
• Handle client billing information and attendance sheets.
• Complete monthly progress notes and recreation forms.
• Complete daily staff responsibility and transportation logs.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety.

Kenntnisse

Experience with DD/Autism populations
