Job summary

QSAC, Inc. in Bronx, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional Group Leader for the Bronx 2 Day Habilitation program. The role leads DSP staff, ensures treatment plans are followed, and oversees activity classrooms and individuals in the groups.

You will supervise habilitation specialists, train staff on plans, maintain SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR, and First Aid certifications, handle client billing information, and complete attendance and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional experience leading groups.
• Maintains required certifications: SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR, First Aid.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage attendance and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Habilitation Specialists/DSPs
• Implement, adhere to and train staff on established treatment plans
• Maintain all required certifications (SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR, 1 st AID)
• Handle client billing information (Individual Summary Sheet)
• Complete daily and weekly homeroom attendance sheets
• Complete monthly progress notes and recreation forms
• Complete daily staff responsibility sheet
