ViaQuest Healthcare Central in Ohio is hiring entry-level caregivers to provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities in our ICF facilities. This role emphasizes safety, independence, and empowerment while you learn on the job with comprehensive training.

No prior experience required; paid training including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration. Full-time staff receive medical, vision, dental, disability, life insurance, a 401k, PTO, and opportunities for pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or required as stated.
• Age 18 or older and valid Ohio driver's license with car insurance.
• MVRC must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Experience in developmental disabilities or direct care preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Administer site training to new hires.
• Assist with shift coverage as needed.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily living activities.
• Complete household tasks including meal prep and maintaining a clean living environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Administering site training to new hires.
• Assisting with shift coverage as needed.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Requirements for this position include:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Experience in the field of developmental disabilities or direct care is preferred but not required.
