Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Pompton Lakes, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding & training, and opportunities for advancement in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Complete ongoing training and professional development.
