Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Trenton, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

We offer paid onboarding, training, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement in a mission-driven company. Starting pay is $23/hr (non-acuity) or $33/hr (acuity) with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting weekly hour

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence and confidence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep and hygiene.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Attend ongoing training and professional development.
