Job summary

Integrity Support Solutions seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Northampton County, PA, to provide compassionate care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other diagnoses. DSPs will assist in daily living, follow behavior support plans, and monitor emotional well-being. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, experience with specialized care, and reliable transportation. We're offering up to $17/hour and a $300 signing bonus, with flexible shifts throughout the week.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Autism, OCD, and behavioral challenges preferred.
• Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques and willingness to learn required.
• Must be patient and empathetic, able to remain calm during behavioral episodes.
• Strong verbal communication skills for accurate incident reporting.
• Reliable transportation for community outings is a must.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Training in crisis management or willingness to complete training is required.
• Physical capability to assist individuals when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support for individuals with autism and other diagnoses.
• Follow behavior support plans regarding self-injurious behaviors.
• Engage individuals in activities; ensure safety during community outings.
• Manage and document incidents and communicate effectively with the support team.
• Monitor situations to prevent emotional outbursts using approved interventions.
• Transport individuals to community activities.
