Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. The role emphasizes independence, community engagement, and daily living skills while following Individualized Service Plans.

The position offers flexible hours and local cases with a supportive team. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and may need CPR/First Aid certification; driving is preferred in some cases.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
