Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on, one-on-one support for individuals with developmental disabilities across New Jersey. You will work in home and community settings following each client's ISP, focusing on independence, daily living skills, and community participation.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma/GED preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiving mindset.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already held.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
