Job summary

Cadient, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Crescent residence in New York. The role provides support and skills training to five young men with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and in the community, helping them gain independence.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, NYS driver’s license, basic computer knowledge, and willingness to complete certifications such as Van, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Post-secondary Human Services education a plus.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to residents in a residential setting and in the community.
• Assist with daily living tasks and community integration.
• Maintain safety and document progress.
