Job summary

Actalent in Warrenton, VA seeks a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to design and implement DSP algorithms for wireless and SDR systems. You will work with C++, Python, GNU Radio, X-MIDAS, and CUDA on on-site and hybrid environments, collaborating with sr engineers to translate designs into deployable software.

The role requires 5+ years in DSP software and communications, a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, and the ability to obtain/maintain an active clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing DSP software for communications systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Python and SDR toolchains.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DSP algorithms for wireless and SDR platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and systems engineers to integrate DSP into larger systems.
• Support CI/CD, testing, and performance optimization of DSP software.
• Prepare documentation and support customer demonstrations.
