Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental disabilities in Mill Hall and the surrounding community. You will deliver person-centered care, promote independence, and safeguard dignity in every interaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and transportation to appointments, while adhering to BSPs and HIPAA standards. A valid driver’s license and prior DSP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of behavioral support plans (BSPs) and home care practices.
• Ability to assist individuals with mobility and personal care needs.
• Proficient in goal tracking and implementing individualized support strategies.
• Solid understanding of individual rights, person-centered advocacy, and HIPAA compliance.
• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and access to your own reliable transportation.
• Prior experience as a DSP
• Must have experience with bedbound patients and ability to lift and use a Hoyer

Job Type: Part-time
