Regular Salary: $20.49 per hour Mon-Fri and $21.49 per hour for shifts beginning 11PM Friday to 11PM Sunday. Non-work time will be paid at the base rate.

Responsibilities

• Residential Counselor is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the group home.
• Assist and/or supervise individuals in personal care areas such as bathing/toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning, cooking, and life skills.
• Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the individuals living in the homes.
• Drive residents to/from day programs or other community activities using agency vehicles.
• Daily documentation of services provided.
• Assist with fun community-based activities.

Job Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and our emergency evacuation procedures.
• Successful completion of criminal background check, references/DMV check, fingerprinting, pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Attendance at monthly staff meetings; waivers available for conflicts due to secondary employment or school with appropriate documentation.

Per Diem – Shift Hours

Hours and days M-F, flexible between 8:30 am–4:45 pm.
