Sunnyhill, Inc. in St. Louis, MO seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with IDD to live more independent lives. You will provide daily assistance, promote social engagement, and act as a mentor, advocate, and friend.

This part-time/full-time position offers flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career growth in a caring team environment. A high school diploma and compassionate attitude are required; caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong desire to help others.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in caregiving or working with IDD is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance as defined by state law.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance and promote independence.
