Job summary

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide compassionate, person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as part of our Community Engagement Program. You’ll help individuals participate in community activities, build relationships, and develop life skills in a supportive team environment. No experience?

We train the right person. Valid driver’s license, clean background check, reliable transportation, and residency on the Peninsula are required.

We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing Community Engagement Program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Peninsula.

No experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right person who has the heart, patience, and dedication to make a difference.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals with intellectual disabilities actively participate in their communities, build relationships, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Every day is different, rewarding, and filled with opportunities to help others thrive.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals during community outings and activities
• Encouraging independence and personal growth
• Assisting with daily goals and skill development
• Promoting social engagement and community inclusion
• Documenting activities and progress accurately
• Providing safe, respectful, and person-centered support

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
• Work between 3-5 days per week

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation
• Must reside on the Peninsula
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Must be dependable and punctual
