Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in human services a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet pre-employment requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification, CMT, Mandt Training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Administering Medication.
• Feeding and preparing meals.
• Performing cleaning and light house chores.
• Facilitate community-based activities that promote independence and social engagement.
• Support individuals in developing communication, self-advocacy, employment readiness, and independent living skills.
• Encourage and assist with volunteering, social groups, and recreational activities.
• Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) to help individuals reach their goals.
• Provide transportation to and from community activities as needed.
• Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all individuals supported.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.

🕘 Schedule: Saturday-Sunday (2 Shifts per Day)
Shift 1: Morning Shift — 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift 2: Evening Shift — 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
