Job summary

Arc of Greater Prince William in Manassas, VA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for paid training to assist individuals with developmental disabilities. You will use your caregiving and people skills to help clients achieve personal goals in residential settings.

This full-time role requires flexibility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks and trainings. The schedule is Thursday–Saturday 10pm–8am at a group home in Manassas, VA 20112.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or related care.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Ability to pass required trainings.
• Valid driver’s license with 3-year driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Flexibility and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in residential group homes.
• Assist with transportation using agency van.
• Support individuals to achieve personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities.

You can get paid to take someone to the park while making a difference in their life! Hourly rate starting at $17.00 per hour. Full-Time Schedule 30 hours/week: Thursday - Saturday 10pm-8am at group home located in Manassas, VA 20112.

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges, or transferrable skills that relate to serving this population (such as experience in education, caregiving, health care, other human services or customer service);
• Ability to pass criminal background check
