Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. Abound Health offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, training, advancement opportunities, and benefits based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Direct Support Professional or caregiver is beneficial.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and community participation.
• Strong communication with clients, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals in home, community, and workplace.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and new skills.
• Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
