Job summary

Care Force Homes, Inc. is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional to join our team of big-hearted caregivers. You’ll support adults with intellectual disabilities in a group home, guided by person-centered thinking and empathy.

We offer 38 hours per week, $18.00/hour, health insurance, PTO, paid holidays and a 401(k). No prior experience required—just compassion and reliability. Equal opportunity employer.

• Compassionate, dependable and ready to learn.
• Solid communication skills (English - verbal, written, and on a phone or tablet).
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check (per MN statute).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to assist teammates as needed.

The Schedule:

• 38 hours/week
• Monday 10am-4pm, Tuesday 7am-3pm, Wednesday 10am-4pm, Friday 9am-3pm
• Every other Saturday & Sunday: 8am-8pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting people with everyday routines, from meal prep to evening wind-downs
• Helping folks enjoy life—whether that means hanging at home or heading out into the community
• Encouraging independence and celebrating progress
• Keeping things tidy and organized around the house
• Writing down what happened during your shift so others stay in the loop
• Showing up with empathy, patience, and a sense of humor
