Job summary

Access Alaska, Inc. in Fairbanks seeks dependable Direct Service Providers to assist individuals with disabilities in their homes with personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.

You will help promote independence and support a safe environment under the Plan of Care. This role offers a flexible schedule based on the Consumer's needs and meaningful work that makes a real difference in someone's life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass State & National fingerprint background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
• Help with household activities (meals, cleaning, shopping)
• Maintain accurate daily timesheets and service notes
• Support a safe environment and follow the Plan of Care
• Communicate changes or concerns to office staff
• Completing Timesheets and Notes
• Able to use Electronic Verification or can learn
• Must have ability to use a computer to complete on-line training, annual reviews and Therap
