Utz Quality Foods in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Warehouse Lead to support the sales management team and ensure the DSD Distribution Center operates efficiently. The Lead will perform DC warehouse duties while managing DC operations and routes.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse work, familiarity with D365 ERP, leadership experience, and strong inventory skills. Forklift operation and precise record-keeping are essential. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC.
• Experience with ERP like D365 is highly preferred.
• Experience leading others is preferred.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation for inventory and rotation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assign daily tasks to Warehouse team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with training new DSD warehouse staff.
• Manage inventory; receive, store, load, and verify products.
• Unload trailers and verify loads.
• Balance daily inventory using handheld computer.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Cover open routes and deliver to customers as directed.
• Lead month-end inventory counts and report discrepancies.
