Job summary

Lowe's Foods is seeking a team-oriented individual to manage day-to-day receiving and cashier tasks in a retail setting. You will oversee DSD vendor activities, maintain logs, and update system files to ensure accurate pricing and stock levels.

The role requires physical stamina, strong math, and excellent communication. You will work with a team to keep the receiving area neat and compliant with security procedures, while performing occasional stocking and cashier duties.

Qualifications

• Experience with DSD/Scanning operations.
• Ability to read and interpret information.
• Comfort with using computers.
• Strong math and counting accuracy.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
• Strong teamwork and guest service mindset.
• Effective communication skills with customers and coworkers.

• Flexibility to perform cashier and stocking duties.
• Proactive with safety, security, and shrink procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD vendor receiving activities and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
• Update system files as needed.
• Ensure back-up receiving clerk is trained and available.
• Report discrepancies or pricing issues to supervisor and Pricing Dept.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Handle damaged merchandise per reclaim procedures.
• Follow security and shrink procedures.
• Perform stocking duties as required.
• Perform cashier duties as required.
• Adhere to all other duties assigned by management.
