Food Lion in Edgemere, MD is seeking a Store Receiving Associate to ensure proper DSD product receiving and adherence to Food Lion policies. You will help maximize sales through excellent customer service and maintain safety standards.

You will stock, rotate products, verify invoices, work with vendors to resolve issues, and ensure plan-o-grams are accurate while following all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Protect company assets through the proper and accurate receipt and return of DSD product.
• Work with vendors to resolve vendor errors, policy violations or excessive inventory, etc.
• Verify that DSD plan-o-grams are accurate.
• Account for daily and weekly DSD tickets, beer and wine invoices and properly file.
• Check EDI invoices to ensure there are no outstanding invoices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
