Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. is seeking a Retail Professional to uphold Diamond Difference standards and support daily store operations across receiving and merchandising tasks.

You will prioritize daily work, share product knowledge with the team, and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced environment, including weekend and evening hours. The position offers growth, competitive benefits, and strong teamwork.

  • Production-driven with the ability to handle repetitive tasks while standing.

  • Available for non-traditional five-day work schedule including weekends and evenings.

  • Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
  • Acquire and share knowledge of DSD Department with team members.
  • Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including: vendor check-in, scanning damages, maintaining QCSSS standards, scanning invoices, and product transfers.
  • Receive and unload daily product deliveries.
  • Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Prioritizes daily work based on varying business needs.
  • Acquires and shares knowledge of DSD Department with team members.
  • Responsible for working as a team to complete daily tasks as needed, including:
    1. Vendor check-in.
    2. Scanning damages.
    3. Maintaining QCSSS standards of receiving area and surrounding workspace.
    4. Scans invoices, completes not on files and product transfers.
    5. Reception and unloading of daily product deliveries.

  • Attends required corporate meetings and training classes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Displays a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.
  • Able to frequent lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time.
  • Able to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.
  • Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold.
