Job summary

E&K Building Excellence seeks skilled drywall finish technicians to join our Denver-based team. You will layout, prepare, and finish drywall surfaces, applying joint compounds and textures per plans while meeting safety standards and quality expectations.

Applicants should be able to read blueprints, perform basic math, lift heavy loads, and work with ladders and scaffolds. We offer competitive union wages, a retirement plan, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and plans.
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of drywall finishing processes.
• Willingness to follow OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install drywall beads.
• Prepare drywall surfaces for finish products.
• Mix, carry and apply joint compound.
• Tape, coat, finish and sand joint compound.
• Texture walls or ceilings per plans and specs.
• Clean up, protect, move material, tools & equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds.
• Conform to all safety rules and OSHA standards.
• Calculate unit costs based on material quantities and labor.
• Arrive to work on time at various locations.
• Attend required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
