Job Opportunity: Drywall Taper

BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking a Drywall Taper to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN, BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

Wage:

• Starting at $22 hourly depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Installation, finishing, and sanding of drywall to prepare for painting
• Tape drywall seams
• Mix and apply mud to taped drywall seams
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Light Carpentry work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in using hand tools, such as saws, sanders, drills, and hammer
• Ability to show initiative around the project and corporate goals such as:
• Willingness to learn and change existing processes
• Undertake self-development activities
• Take responsibilities for project problems
• Sharing of project success
• Looks for, and takes advantage of, project opportunities for betterment that do not sacrifice ethical standards

• Competently utilize various tools and equipment to ensure project quality, performance, and cleanliness

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience within drywall
