Job summary

First Choice Restoration is seeking an experienced Drywall Hanger & Taper to join our Central Washington team. This full-time role involves hanging, taping, mudding, texturing, and finishing drywall on both residential and commercial restoration projects.

You will match textures, repair damaged surfaces, and maintain safety and quality on-site while collaborating with project managers and homeowners. Overtime opportunities may be available and drivers license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of drywall hanging and finishing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required.

Responsibilities

• Hang drywall on residential and commercial restoration and remodeling projects.
• Tape, mud, texture, sand, and finish drywall to a paint-ready surface.
• Match existing textures, including orange peel, knockdown, and hand textures.
• Repair water- and fire-damaged drywall and ceilings.
• Measure, cut, and install drywall accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with other reconstruction tasks as needed.

Compensation

Pay: $25 – $35 per hour (DOE)
