PatchitUP is seeking a Drywall Repair Technician - Helper/Apprentice to join our team. The role supports the lead technician, handles surface preparation, drywall measurement and installation, and assists with finishing tasks to ensure high-quality workmanship.

This hands-on position offers practical training and growth within a respected home renovation company. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, follow directions precisely, and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

Experience in drywall repair preferred.
Basic knowledge of drywall repair techniques and materials.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead Drywall Repair Technician in all aspects of drywall repair and installation.
Prepare surfaces for repair by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Measure, cut, and install drywall according to specifications.
Assist in taping, mudding, and sanding seams to ensure a smooth finish.
Perform minor carpentry work as needed to support drywall installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
