Summary/Objective

The Drywall & Paint Technician is responsible for completing high-quality drywall repair, finishing, and painting services across residential and commercial job sites. This role supports reconstruction projects by restoring properties to pre-loss condition while delivering excellent customer service and representing the company brand.

Essential Functions
  • Hang, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall
  • Patch and repair walls and ceilings to pre-loss condition
  • Prepare surfaces and apply paint with professional finishes
  • Match textures and paint colors
  • Set up containment, floor protection, and dust control systems
  • Pick up and deliver materials to job sites
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Communicate job progress and concerns to the Project Manager
  • Complete daily job notes and upload photos
  • Support light demolition and prep work as needed
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety practices
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Education and Experience
  • 1–2 years' experience in the construction industry
  • Basic construction knowledge (drywall, painting, demolition)
