Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Des Moines is seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher Foreman to lead the crew on commercial projects, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality while coordinating with superintendents and project managers.

You will direct field activities, maintain daily reports, and foster positive relationships with trades, vendors, and customers. Travel to out-of-town projects may be required; OSHA 30 and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of drywall finisher foreman experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors.
  • Must lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 (preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects.
  • Experience with acoustic drywall finishes; skim coat is desirable.
  • Experience with Procore software.

  • Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation
  • Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen

Job Description

Pay Range: $35.31 - $37.31/hr

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Drywall Finisher Foreman
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Requirements

  • OSHA 30
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable
  • Experience with specialized finishes; acoustical drywall finish and direct applied skim coat finishes is desirable
  • Experience with Procore software is desirable.
