Job summary

Double L is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with proven drywall estimating experience to support our growing construction businesses. The Estimator manages assigned opportunities throughout the bid lifecycle—from identifying and evaluating potential projects through preparing estimates, submitting bids, and following up with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of drywall estimating, construction, preconstruction, project coordination, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to identify and track upcoming bidding opportunities.
• Enter and maintain bid opportunities in the bid-management system.
• Prepare, organize, and update bid documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain current records of bid status, scope, pricing, decisions, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in bid-review meetings with leadership and support bid/no-bid decisions.
• Evaluate project scope, schedule, risk, and alignment with company goals.
• Prepare detailed project estimates in accordance with company standards.
• Submit complete bids by required deadlines and ensure all forms are complete.
