Manganaro Building Group, LLC in Palmetto, FL is seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team. You will interpret plans and specifications to prepare bids, and apply knowledge of local costs to create accurate proposals.

This role offers growth within a growing firm with a rich history in drywall, masonry, and building envelope restoration. Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence are essential, as is collaboration with project engineers and estimators.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Assistant Estimator with 2 years of experience or 5-7 years overall.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications for bids.
• Knowledge of local material, labor and equipment costs.
• Familiarity with local building codes in assigned locations.
• Willingness to train engineers and junior estimators.

Job description

Manganaro Building Group, LLC is seeking a commercial Drywall Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team in Palmetto, FL. If you have an eye for detail while maintaining the accuracy of your work, Manganaro has a place for you!

Manganaro is a growing company performing construction services from southeastern and mid-Atlantic states to new england. Manganaro has nearly 65 years of experience in drywall, masonry, concrete/masonry restoration, structural strengthening and building envelope restoration, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8) and specialties (Div 10).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpret plans and specifications in order to prepare written proposals for bids and proposals
• Possess knowledge of local material, labor and equipment costs
• Maintain understanding of all local, city and state building codes in assigned locations
• Manage and train project engineers and assistant project estimators to ensure proper growth within the organization
• Continuously develop and improve upon knowledge for all product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8) and specialties (Div 10).

Education and Experience:

• B.S. Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred
• Assistant Estimator with 2 years of experience or 5-7 years of experience overall
