Miles McClellan Construction is seeking a Drywall Carpenter to install, finish, and repair drywall systems on commercial construction projects. You will measure, cut, and fit panels, read plans, and prepare materials for tasks while maintaining safety on site.

The role emphasizes quality workmanship and teamwork with project teams. The position requires reading drawings, prior drywall or construction experience if possible, and the ability to lift up to 85 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in drywall, carpentry, or commercial construction preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and work at varying locations and weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to project sites and successful pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to wood and metal framing.
• Layout openings for doors, windows, and fixtures; apply joint compound and finishing materials.
• Sand, finish, and repair drywall as needed; install ceiling tile components.
• Read plans and estimate materials; use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow safety policies.
