Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Drywall Carpenter to install, finish, and repair drywall on commercial construction projects. You will measure, cut, and install panels to wood and metal framing, and read building plans.

Responsibilities include taping, finishing, sanding, ceilings, and interpreting drawings. Candidates should have high school diploma preferred and prior drywall/construction experience; on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in drywall, carpentry, or commercial construction encouraged; on-the-job training available.

  • Layout openings for doors, windows, fixtures, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Apply tape, joint compound, and finish surfaces; sand and repair as needed.
  • Install ceiling tiles and related components.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings/specifications; prepare materials needed for tasks.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment; follow site safety policies.

OverviewThe Drywall Carpenter is responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall systems and ceiling components on commercial construction projects.
