Job summary

Everett Ship Repair is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee dry-dock maintenance, repairs, and overhauls. The role emphasizes NAVSEA standard adherence, safety controls, and coordination with multiple trades to ensure readiness and compliance.

You will review test plans, manage documentation, and participate in production meetings while supporting audits by NAVSEA and DoD representatives. Extensive experience in shipyard operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher degree.
• 2–3+ years in maintenance, overhaul, or shipyard operations.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements.
• Familiarity with NAVSEA Standard Items (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance, repairs, modernization, and overhauls on ESR dry-dock assets per procedures and schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with NAVSEA SI, drawings, TMs, and work specs.
• Enforce safety controls including gas-free, confined space entry, and hot work.
• Track progress, manpower, materials, cost, and schedule; drive corrective actions.
• Inspect systems throughout dry-dock evolutions and document findings.
• Maintain configuration control, work authorization, and alteration records.
