Job summary

Everett Ship Repair LLC is seeking a Dry Dock Maintenance Technician responsible for supervising maintenance and repair activities on dry docks. You will ensure compliance with NAVSEA technical requirements while supporting safety, quality assurance, and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in shipyard operations and a strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintenance, overhaul, or shipyard operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of preventive maintenance common practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform dry dock maintenance activities based on written procedures and schedules.
• Execute work in compliance with NAVSEA Standard Items and Technical Manuals.
• Enforce OSHA, NAVSEA, and shipyard safety requirements.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical and auxiliary systems during dry dock evolutions.
• Support audits and inspections conducted by NAVSEA, SUPSHIP, and DoD representatives.
