Benchmark Utility Services is a premier design-build, site and underground utility construction firm with over 500 successful projects completed in the past ten years. We are seeking hardworking Construction Dry Utility Laborers to support excavations, piping, and underground utilities on our field team.

You will work closely with crew members to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or labor preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in trenches, confined spaces, and around active utilities.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor to support site and utility construction projects.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform work for underground dry utilities.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean and prepare job sites, including debris removal and site restoration.
• Excavate trenches and perform manual digging around existing utilities.
• Assist with installation of piping, conduit, and other utility infrastructure.
• Support skilled tradespeople and equipment operators as needed.
• Report equipment issues and perform light maintenance on tools.
• Follow all safety procedures, participate in daily safety briefings, and use required PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
