Job summary

Hickmans Family Farms is hiring a Dry Storage Warehouse Associate in ARLINGTON, AZ to manage raw material inventory, receive inbound shipments and replenish stock. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, log records, and ensure accuracy while following GMP/SOP guidelines.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, detail-oriented and able to work independently with routine inventory checks and safe, efficient handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious approach and strict follow-through on safety protocols.
• Some experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of frequent standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with front office regarding incoming loads and material needs.
• Verify and log all incoming/outgoing raw and packaging materials.
• Conduct counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain current, accurate inventory and timely replenishment.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized and compliant with safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely using provided PPE.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow GMP and SOP requirements for food safety and quality.

The Dry Storage Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials, receiving inbound shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate stock replenishment. This role involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory records, and operating powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while following all GMP and SOP guidelines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Communicate with the front office regarding incoming loads and material needs as required.


• Verify, log, and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing raw and packaging materials.


• Conduct accurate counts of loading and unloading materials to ensure correct inventory.


• Maintain a current and accurate inventory count of all materials in dry storage, ensuring timely replenishment.


• Keep storage areas clean and organized, ensuring safe access and compliance with safety protocols.


• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently, using provided BIO PPE as needed.


• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance needs to ensure all operations run smoothly.


• Follow all company GMP and SOP requirements to uphold food safety and quality standards.
