Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, overtime and holidays.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to wear all required safety equipment.
• Mechanical/welding knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dry Plant Machinery: Efficiently operate and control drying equipment, including but not limited to dryers, conveyors, and associated machinery.
• Monitor Production: Continuously monitor production processes to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency. Adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production goals.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure safe and optimal operation. Report any maintenance needs or malfunctions promptly.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials and products at various stages of the drying process to ensure they meet quality standards. Take corrective actions when necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues that may arise during your shift.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the production team, including supervisors and maintenance staff, to coordinate activities and achieve production targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for enhancing productivity, efficiency, and safety.
